Gluing trials continuing: Loctite is favourite (for Dispensemaster) Bonding: exercising the machine; practising in laying down patterns (Simon and Sam) Now gluing two hybrids with Traduct : glue on to patterned glass. Current Status and News Simon Pyatt Sam Edwards Juergen Thomas John Wilson Phil Allport Loctite 3525 Dymax 6621

ASICs Plain glass = 198; Patterned glass = 13 Glue UV : all sent to Glasgow Traduct (ASIC/hybrid) = 9 Epolite (Hybrid/Sensor) = 7 (+1 in freezer currently being reused) Sensors Plain glass = 7 Patterned glass = 2 (or are these mechanicals?) Hybrids Brown (12 over 2 panels; 7 RH sided + 5 left hand sided); Green (2 full; one is the standard calibration measure – so not usable?) ASIC boxes : 21 empty. Conclude: Spare plain glass ASICs to swap/send but very short of “patterned glass” Stocktaking
