3. Living things contain DNA.
4. Living things grow and develop. Living things have a life cycle.
5. Living things eat food for energy.
6. Living things respond to stimuli from their environment. Frightened Happy Angry Sad
7. Living things maintain, homeostasis, a stable internal environment. Body temp, Calcium levels, sugar, oxygen, carbon dioxide, salts etc.
8. As a group, living things change over time (they evolve).
