Reference Related Committees Reference Services Library-wide focus on the provision of reference services Opportunities for communication of practices General policy development Hub Management Focus primarily on direct provision of services through the Main/UGL Reference hub Training and professional development (Library-wide)

Activities of the RSC Consolidate and articulate reference policies Enrich Desk Tracker utility in conjunction with Assessment Committee Provide opportunities to share practices and develop best practices Assessment of library attitudes toward new service model Assessment of user attitudes toward new service model and reference services in general

Activities of the Hub Management Team Coordinate participation in shared reference services across the Main and Undergraduate Library Oversight of scheduling for Information Desk and VR Desk Development and implementation of training program to provide uniform practices and knowledge Desk-specific assessment

Reference Management Team Formulating and reviewing plans, goals, priorities, strategies, policies and procedures relating to reference services Promoting awareness of and participation in reference-related activities Engaging in and advising on the assessment of reference services Assessing professional development needs for reference staff and providing appropriate opportunities for skill development Collaboratively developing a consistent, high-quality user experience Developing strategies to effectively facilitate referrals and interdisciplinary work Actively contributing to the assessment and integration of discovery services into reference work Investigating, developing, and sharing new approaches or initiatives related to the provision of reference.
