Communicating with Parents - PowerSchool: Communication with Grades and Attendance tab

Click on two dashes To see a list of Assignments

There is a key to the codes at the bottom of the list of assignments

Some assignments are hyperlinks Click on blue hyperlink

The hyperlink will provide assignment specific information

This description explains the level of expectation on the quiz

These hyperlinks indicate that the teacher has entered a student specific comment

Hyperlinks will take you to standard specific information

Each of the arrows indicate an available drop-down window with more information

Student Learning Targets tab: lists the skills a student should be able to do at the end of instruction

Proficiency Scale tab: displays the scoring rubric for this standard

Most, but not all, content areas have finished updating this information. Resource tab: provides information on resources students and parents can use to reinforce learning

Team Assignment Calendars posted on school websites – help to know what stardards are being studied and when assessments.

Student self-monitoring – ask your child to share any tracker score- sheets that they are using.
