Christmas Newsletter Template This is an editable newsletter template that you can use to send out classroom information, up coming events and much more. This product contains 8 editable pages that you can use for your weekly or monthly newsletter. You can use one or all the pages included in this product. I typically use pages in my monthly school newsletter. Text boxes are included to make it easier to add text. You can change the font, color and size to fit your needs. You may also choose to add additional clip art over the top. These pages look great printed in black and white too. I send home printed newsletters in black and white and upload a PDF version to our district site in color. You may choose to a PDF version to families as well. I have also included 2 activity sheets that you can choose to add to your newsletter or print and use in your classroom. I always send home activity sheets in my newsletter to encourage parents to work with their child at home. These pages are 8.5 x 11 This product is an editable PowerPoint file. Kindergarten Classroom News Week of December 14th What We Are Learning : Thursday, Dec. 17 th is a Half Day! All students must be picked up by 12:00pm If you have not yet sent in the $3 for holiday crafts, please do so ASAP! Tuesday, Dec. 15 th is wear your favorite holiday item! Wednesday, Dec. 16 th is Pajama Day! We will be watching Polar Express and doing a writing assignment on the similarities & differences between the book & the movie. Thursday, Dec. 17 th is Santa Hat Day! ELA: We are learning appropriate spelling conventions and using letter/sound correspondence. Reading: We are making reindeer food by learning how to follow a recipe. We are also reading favorite holiday stories Math: We are building gingerbread houses using symmetry and geometric shapes. Science: We will be conducting scientific investigations, and communicating observations with others about simple descriptive investigations. Social Studies: We are learning about this different holidays that are celebrated around the world. Our Holiday Party will be Thursday, Dec.17 th from 11:00-12:00pm. We will be eating lunch in our classroom this day. If you would like for your child to get a lunch from the cafeteria please let your child’s teacher know.
