CMS/ONC Request For Information “Advancing Interoperability and Health Information Exchange” Request For Information (RFI) published in Federal Register on 07MAR13“Advancing Interoperability and Health Information Exchange” Request For Information Comments due 22APR13 HHS seeks input on a series of potential policy and programmatic changes to increase HIE across providers Policies and Programs under consideration are those relevant to: –Low rates of EHR Adoption and HIE among LTPAC Providers –Low rates of HIE across settings of Care and Providers –Low rates of consumer and patient engagement CMS/ONC will be hosting a series of webinars to walk through RFI in the coming weeks (STAY TUNED!) 3
