Code Validation Transaction Summary: Validate/confirm that a terminology code (or codes) exist within a designated Code System or ValueSet Use Cases: 1. IL – perform run-time validation of message codes against pre-defined (contextual) terminology targets 2. PoC – perform validation of prospective message codes during OHIE installation and integration processes

Implementation Implement using the proposed FHIR validation interface FHIR: GET [service-url]/ValueSet/23/ $validate?system= “Batching” of requests is also supported via a POST format See:
