Cover Cut phrases out of magazines that stand out to you Organize the phrases into a found poem Glue them to the front of your notebook

Set-Up 1.Count 4 page: table of contents 2.Count 10 pages from end: vocabulary notebook 3.Go to seam in notebook: Writer’s notebook

Sections Section 1: Table of Contents Section 2: Class Notebook Section 3: Writer’s Notebook Section 4: Vocabulary Notebook Each section gets a decorated title page with these must haves: –Section 1: Table of Contents Name, period, Grade level –Section 2: Fall Semester splash page (add images and words as the semester progresses) –Section 3: Writer’s notebook Letter to yourself with one goal for the year –Section 4: Vocabulary Notebook Favorite word collage (school appropriate please) Feel free to print any of these pages and glue them in or cut images, words, or phrases out of magazines to make your notebook sections unique
