Essential Questions 1.What is “bias”? Is bias inherent in the news media? 2.What can news consumers do about bias in the new business? 3.How does freedom of the press function in today’s society? 4.Should the news media follow ethical guidelines? Which guidelines, and why? 5.What is our role as news consumers?
