Sir Ernest Shackleton Sir Ernest Shackleton was born on the 15 th of February He died on the 5 th of January 1922 at the age of 47, from a heart attack. Shackleton lead his second Antarctic expedition to within 156km of the South Pole. He only turned back if his supplies had run out.
Sir Robert Falcon Scott. Sir Robert Falcon Scott was born on the 6 th of June He died on March the 29 th 1912 aged 66. (died from heart disease) He had a bad Financial Crisis in His family went homeless, without him and they had a financial disaster.
