Each player can mark an opponent who is in his “area”. Line of confrontation. Line of defense. When we loose the ball in the final third: 3. The block should be 30 X 40 Yards. It “starts” at the ¾ field line and ”ends” about 10 Yards behind the center stripe. 30 X 40 Yard Defensive Block 1.Our nearest player to the ball should pressure it to slow him down. Try to make his head go down. Make him play backwards or sideways. 4. As the other team passes the ball, the entire block moves with the ball.
