5.4 - Physical and Financial progress of e-pest surveillance under A3P during Kharif 2011 ( i) The disaster management group have been constituted in all A3P districts as per norms. (ii) Nodal ADO/ADA at Block level have been identified by the concerned districts, who will be responsible for e-pest surveillance in 1000 ha. (i.e. one unit). (iii) A total of 10 farmers scouts for 1000 ha. with a norm of farmer scout for every 100 ha area have been selected. (iv) Each farmer scout has selected 10 sample area of 1 acre each with a norm of one sample area for every 10 hectare. (v) All the farmer scout have been asked to visit the field regularly and conduct the pest surveillance survey, to fill the prescribed Proforma and submit the report to the Nodal ADO of the block. (vi) 3 Tier Training System (a) At the training level-I: The selected ADA, of A3P districts have been trained as per the training schedule of NCIPM, New Delhi. (b) At the training level-II: The extension functionaries (ADO/Extension functionaries etc.) have also been trained by the Trained Master Trainer. (c) At the training level-III: The training of farmer scout by the officer trained at level-II are also being conducted.
