Sources to Diagnose Critical Gaps To effectively surface talent gaps, HR must expand traditional gap analysis and diagnose both internal and external talent and organizational constraints to strategy execution.

Gap Analysis Matrix A gap analysis surfaces the talent/capabilities that are both critical to strategy and are in deficit within the organization. To complete the gap analysis, organizations should plot the size of the gap and the criticality of the gap of a talent segment/capability on this matrix.
