Student Progress September 25-29, 2006 Student Lan Comments 2. G. AguilarSpa FC: She passed her Writing exam (450). I hoped for a higher score since it is her strongest subject. She took Reading this week. She learns Math fast, but she works really slowly. Time may be an issue for her during the exam. 4. E. CasiánSpa FC: She took Writing and felt good about it. She said the topic was rather easy. She got 440 in Social Studies. 5. E. CedilloEng CB: More than most of the others I see E. putting in some effort to learn. I think she’s getting close if she can stay focused. KB: Perhaps doing a little better since she has changed seats. I am not sure how much the students help each other on their assignments. Testing KB: Lilibeth for math next week. Activities Bowling Comments FC: Friday and Saturday I’ll be attending the Idaho Association of Teachers of Culture and Language conference. S. Grange will be replacing me Friday morning, if the ladies can attend class.

Who will follow up? Program level Progress toward GPRA and program objectives Decision Making Which students need to be signed up for tests? Are there program services that need to be revised? e.g. more time to certain subjects Adapting curriculum

Database Microsoft Access database Demographic, Testing, Placement Data Accessible to all staff Assigned responsibilities for input Administrative Assistant Placement Counselor Database Coordinator/Work Study Forms for data input Queries and Report features used by Associate Director

GED 123 Allows student to input demographic data prior to taking the GED tests Students are issued an access code to obtain GED test results and transcripts Testing center is able to scan answer sheets and get immediate results.

Upon Student Exit... Letters to high schools or agencies to inform principals or other contacts of GED completion Exit Interview Update Contact Information Student photograph for newsletter Placement data recorded Student issued copies of GED transcripts and resumes Input information into database

Making Information Available via the web or A website is a great outreach tool Newsletters and updates Applications available for download – PDF file Program Information Links to University or Non Profit Used to update staff about GED scores and events Update community contacts about student progress
