Proverbs 30  The oracle of Agur  Proverbial sayings declaring the power and wisdom of God shown through His word and through nature

Prov 30:5-6 Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words lest He reprove you, and you be proved a liar.

Prov 30:24 Four things are small on the earth, but they are exceedingly wise:

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Heb 4:14-16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.

God is no less great today among us than when Agur wrote these words centuries ago. Thank you for coming to worship this great God with us today. May He be praised by what we do, and may we be the wiser for eternity’s sake.
