Katherine Lee Bates wrote a poem which she called “America, the beautiful” long ago. But America is still beautiful! People enjoy the wonders of nature practically in every state. There are high mountains, green forests and plains, wonderful lakes and rivers, deep canyons and waterfalls in America. America can be called the country of the most outstanding things. One can find here the first highest building, the biggest city, the most famous statue in the world. Would you like to see some of the wonders of America? Let’s go!

the Capitol the White House Washington is the capital of the USA. It isn ’ t the largest city, but it is very beautiful and has many attractions. There is the Capitol and the White House there. the “ Pencil ”, which is an attraction, too. In the Capitol the Congress works and in the White House the President lives. Tourists come here to watch the “ Pencil ”, which is an attraction, too.

Los Angeles is very big, noisy and famous all over the world because there is Hollywood there. In Hollywood American films are made. And near Los Angeles there is wonderful fairy land called Disneyland. In Disneyland you can see the characters from Walt Disney’s films. Hollywood is a district in Los Angeles, situated west-northwest of the centre of Los Angeles. Here one can find a lot of film studios. Many famous actors work in Hollywood and one can see their names on the Hollywood- walk-of-fame. Many historic Hollywood theaters are used as venues and concert stages to premiere major theatrical releases and host the Academy Awards. It is a popular destination for nightlife and tourism.

Who says Disneyland is only for kids? There is the new park next door, Disney's California Adventure, and Downtown Disney, an outdoor mall with dining and shopping. Disneyland has become a great destination for grownups, too. Disneyland, a popular theme park of entertainment of "The Walt Disney Company", was opened on 17 th July It is the very first Disneyland in the world, the realization of Walt Disney’s dream about an entertainment park where children and adults could have a good time. It is a magic world of cartoons and fairy tales where Mickey Mouse and his friends live and where miracles wait for you all over the place.
