BYRD THEATRE By: Katie and Jessica

RENOVATION-CARPET  The red carpet in the Byrd Theatre is somewhat worn out understandably due to years of wear and tear. One way to get sales to increase is to replace the old carpet with a newer carpet.

ESTIMATED COST  Because of the amount of carpet we would need, our estimated cost for this renovation is around $200,000.  This renovation is costly but well worth it. Not only will it keep customers coming back, but it will help Byrd Theatre gain some publicity.

HOW DO WE RAISE $200,000?  We raise $200,000 in a two part plan  We split the cost 50/50, making each part $100,000 which is more reasonable.  Part One is a 10k run  Part Two is a charity auction

10K RUN  Many people can sign up to race and everybody can donate what they choose.  We will make sure to promote the race by making flyers and setting up a website for the public to view so information is available.

CHARITY AUCTION  For the charity auction we will again need to raise $100,000.  Our idea is that we could auction off people to do services(cleaning, lawn care, cooking etc..)  We can also auction off goods, such as, food, artwork, clothing, jewelry, etc..
