QC – Create Short Answer Question In AKC, click Question Creation Wizard>>Short Answer Question>>Level 1. A Short Answer Question will have answers ranging from words to numbers. Let us see how to create a short answer question.

QC – Create Short Answer Question - Step 1 There are five steps in the SA question creation wizard. In Step1, you need to provide the Question Meta Information, such as Language, Subject, Difficulty and Marks which are mandatory fields. Note: Question Type will be auto populated based on your question type selection.

QC – Create Short Answer Question - Step 3 The first answer type is SET which allows multiple correct options that can be entered. Enter the options in the For SET: field and click Add a Value. For example, Pranab Mukherjee is the answer to the question, Who is the President of India? But, it may be answered in different forms such as P Mukherjee or Pranab Mukherjee. QC – Create Short Answer Question - Step 3 The second answer type is RANGE which allows only numeric answers to be entered. The range of these numbers can be specified in the For Range: section. For example: The correct answer could be anything between 3.14 or So if the candidate has entered 3.15, it is correct.

QC – Create Short Answer Question - Step 3 For example, the name of the President can be entered as Pranab Mukherjee only and cannot be P. Mukherjee or any other option. The third answer type is Equals which allows only one correct answer that can be entered.

QC – Create Short Answer Question - Step 4 In this step, you need to select terms from the respective Select Key and Select Value drop-down lists and after doing so, click Add Value. This is known as a Key Value that is now tagged to the question. This will help to restrict your search for this question and related questions by entering this key value.
