 Virtual whiteboard with “virtual” sticky notes.  Organize your sticky notes in an organized, neat fashion.  Quick and easy.

 This could be used in the upper grades of elementary school for them to use as a study tool. The different colors pop out and are attractive to the eye and can help as a study method.

The aim of this new portal is to provide its visitors with videos worth watching That is a direct response to sites like YouTube in which the absolute amount of files that are uploaded means it is not possible to tell what’s good from what’s bad Rather, each individual video has to be watched and digested It aims to provide a flexible way for anybody to know what to watch It starts learning from your watching behavior and then you will be suggested other videos you might like

This means that the more videos that you add to your favorites, then the more suggestions that you are going to have to pick from This is certainly an interesting solution, only because so much content is available on video hosting services today, that it is impossible find good videos without having to excavate for hours on end This can be a very useful tool for teachers who want to show examples of their daily lesson to try to keep the attention of students during a long class It is also a good way to help students who have a hard time understanding the concepts of the daily lesson

Useful in an Elementary Math class as a more exciting, fun way for students to practice Mathematics. Students might want to practice more at home because Computer Games are more entertaining than textbooks Students learn differently. Some may learn best by repetition in a notebook, some may learn best by being more hands on. (Hence, Carrot Sticks)

I could use this when making a diagram for the class on a certain subject, such as in History or Science. I could have the children make food webs. It gives such exact directions and many features, which it would not come out sloppy, like some programs do. I like the idea that the whole class can be on the same page making the diagram. If I wanted to continue with the food chain, I can have the children work as a whole class in making it. I think having an unlimited re-do button is great, because children tend to feel that if they make one mistake; the whole thing is going to go wrong. I even like that for myself. This lets the children feel more creative and willing to try to explore this program.

E-Learning for Kids appears to be a useful web 2.0 tool classroom resource. The site references the input of certified teachers, experts in specific areas, gaming vendors, and parental involvement. All comments are screened before they are published online. The website referred to itself as “source for childhood learning on the Internet – available from anywhere and without charge”.

Students will learn to master the basics of reading, science, math and computers with the support of this 2.0 web tool in the classroom. Easy access to educational videos and various other interactive programs provides additional support in content areas. Parents become more engaged in their child’s education. Prefix and Suffix Video

A teacher is able to post assignments on his/her twitter, so if a student is absent, that student would be able too see what they missed. Students are able to post questions, allowing the rest of the class to see because another student may in fact have the same question. Students can also remain anonymously, allowing one to voice their opinions or complaints, without being recognized.
