Essential Question What do you know about our solar system?

Objectives The student will be able to construct our solar system. The student will be able to construct our solar system. The student will be able to list the planets in our solar system. The student will be able to list the planets in our solar system. The student will be able to illustrate the planets in order. The student will be able to illustrate the planets in order. The student will be able to describe the correct order of the planets. The student will be able to describe the correct order of the planets. The student will be able to create a representation of our solar system. The student will be able to create a representation of our solar system.

Unit Summary This is a unit on the solar system. It focuses on the eight planets in the solar system. Students will work on several activities which will help them to learn the names of the eight planets, as well as their position in relation to the Sun. The students will use technology to help them with their learning. They will also be able to create a model of the solar system. The students will create resources that will help them with their learning of the solar system.

Instruction Evaluation I will evaluate the student’s activities that are done throughout the lesson. I will re-teach, as I see necessary. At the end of the unit, I will give the children an exam, where they will be tested on the unit questions.
