AP Language and Composition 11/21/13 Agenda Bell ringer: JUST WRITE! Focus word: INCREDULOUS (skeptical, questioning) Weekly Overview and Today’s Objectives: TODAY: Journal, verbal critique, start The Handmaid’s Tale FRI: Grammar, current event: Brinasia and Antoine

Take out the draft you rewrote last night; share aloud in small groups. After each writer reads, share with the writer: Three things he/she did well Two or three areas for growth Writer – you should copy this down on your draft. We will be typing these drafts in class next Tuesday!

Homework: Be ready to type final drafts next Tuesday in Lab 313. Begin The Handmaid’s Tale – Read p by Monday’s class and prepare at least one question. If you annotate, do it in pencil. We will have a reading/drinking coffee/discussion class.
