Finish Strong! Every Monday Matters

Introduction to today’s lesson

Before I die… Remember when we discussed our goals? Do you remember yours? It is interesting to look at life in a different way than what you are used to. Take a look at how one woman changed her perspective and made a difference. siM&app=desktop siM&app=desktop

What is it that you want to accomplish before you die?

Lifetime Achievement Let’s say that you are receiving a lifetime achievement award. ◦What would it be for? ◦What would people be saying about you? Go around the room and answer these questions aloud.

Daily routine Sometimes we get so overwhelmed by the day to day routine, that we forget the fact that our daily attitude and work ethic effect our future. Every day counts. Every class period counts. You are becoming a young adult that will have many responsibilities. If you do not take care of your responsibilities now when they are relatively easy, it could be bad news when you are an adult.

Today…tomorrow Think long and hard about what commitments you are making now that will affect your future tomorrow. Don’t complete your homework today…you will have a bad grade tomorrow. Don’t work hard on that test…may mean tutorials for you tomorrow. Don’t get good grades…don’t move on to next grade. Each action has a reaction. The reaction may not necessarily be a good one.

Give 100% You may not be giving 100%. You may be ready to throw in the towel and call it quits. BUT please consider working hard and finishing the year strong. It will be worth it to you and your future, if you make a decision to work hard(and with a great attitude) every day for the next 10 weeks.

Finish Strong… Check out this video about finishing strong: wWUws7w wWUws7w
