How-To For Educators
Go to Animoto.com/Education and Apply Now for an account. Just fill in the information pertaining to you and your school. After you account has been created you may begin creating videos. You may also set up accounts for your students to create videos. This works best if you have a Gmail account. Also, Educator accounts are only active for a 6 month period; at the end of the 6 months you must Animoto to renew your account.Animoto.com/Education
Once your account has been created, you can go to m, sign in and create your first video slide show. m
With an Educator account you have the choice of creating a 30 second short or a full-length video for free. Traditional account holders must pay for the full length videos.
Next you upload your photos and videos: from your computer, their collections, or another site (Picasa, Flickr, or some other site).
Arrange your images, videos, and add your text boxes.
Select or Upload your music ◦ I would suggest to select from their collection ◦ All of Animoto’s music is copyright free, and is usually an artist who is trying to get their name and music out
Animoto offers music from many different genres Just select the genre that best represents your video and browse their songs
Select the track that best represents your video ◦ Animoto allows you to play a sample of the song before you select it ◦ After you select a track, you will have another chance to listen to it in its entirety, and select the starting point in the song
You may now listen to the entire song, then save it or change it
Select the pacing of the images and the opening image for the video, and click Continue
Add the title, description, and producer and click create video
You will receive an from Animoto letting you know that your video is complete Now you can Share, Embed, Export, or Download your video
