Summative task lunar eclipse By: Alfonso 6C

Identify causes of lunar eclipse There are two kind of eclipses, solar and lunar. The moon orbit the earth and the earth orbit the sun. The moon orbit is tilted and usually passes slightly above that make the lunar eclipse. When the moon is in the earth’s shadow it become lunar eclipse.

How lunar eclipse happens Lunar eclipse happen because the moon orbit the earth and the earth orbit the sun. when the sun, earth and moon make a line together it becomes eclipse. Lunar eclipse happen at night. There are three kinds of lunar eclipse total, penumbral, and partial. Lunar eclipse is not dangerous at all because moon doesn’t make own light. The moon orbit is tilted so sometimes the moon is under the earth and sometimes above the earth. So the eclipse only happen in some places.

THE EARTH THE SUN TOTAL PENUMBRA UMBRA PENUM BRA ECLIPS E PARTIA L ECLIPSE

The impact of lunar eclipse Some Indian people believe that lunar eclipse bring good luck to the person that have Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius and Pisces zodiac. While it gives bad luck to Taurus, Gemini, and Aquarius zodiac. People can make calendar by lunar month. Moslem and Chinese people use lunar calendar. Some fisherman use lunar month to know the amount of fish. People that don’t know about lunar month will get confused about the month and the date because lunar month always move front.
