3 Objectives develop a semantic description framework for business processes that allows –BPM by business experts (higher level of abstraction) –support for automated handling and execution of business processes on the technical level develop semantically enabled core facilities for BPM that can be supported by semantic descriptions develop a prototypical tool suite that allows business experts to handle and manage business processes test and evaluate the usability and applicability of the developed tools in a real world use case scenario (telecommunication sector)
