14 Health & Family Welfare Dept, Govt of Gujaratwww.gujhealth.gov.in AGENDA Agenda1.1 : As per government of India the health Insurance scheme for senior citizen to be implemented as top up scheme on the RSBY platform, which is highlighted as under: The health insurance insurance scheme for senior citizens will cover all who are of age 60 years and above, belonging to approved categories under RSBY.Additional health coverage of Rs. 30,000 per senior citizen per year will be provided over and above RSBY benefit package.This additional package will only be available for senior citizens of the family. The extra health insurance coverage of Rs. 30,000/-per senior citizen would be on cashless basis.
