Chiasmus – Rhetorical device in which two or more clauses are balanced against each other by the reversal of their structure to produce an artistic effect. Ex: Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate. 3. Copy down the definition of Anaphora. Anaphora - In writing or speech, the deliberate repetition of the first part of the sentence in order to achieve an artistic effect.
