One day Annie, a pretty orange cat, was about to go to the store when she saw a skunk in her driveway.

Annie had never seen a skunk before. But she had an idea. She ran up to the skunk and slapped it. But that was a mistake. She just jumped out of the way before she got sprayed.

Then Annie had a another idea. She started pushing the skunk out of her driveway but he was too heavy.

Then the skunk said ‘’Hey, I just want to be friends’’ and Annie said ’’Oh, I’m sorry that I hit you. I just got scared. ‘’

Then the skunk said ‘’ so can we be friends? And Annie said’’ sure. Then Annie and the skunk went to the store together.
