Overview Outline chronology Object-specific narratives Educational narrative series Group narratives Oral history narratives

Outline chronology

Object-specific narratives Why? More readable alternative to standard catalogue display.

Educational narrative series Why? As pre-visit resource for teachers. Need to be led into content - i.e. macro-level to micro-level.

Group narratives Why? To provide an easier route to items linked by, for example, location or theme.

Oral history narratives

In summary... Narratives are user-friendly - more like the interpretation that visitors are familiar with. Narrative relationships make it easy to to build and extend narrative series. Narratives facilitate the pooling of content for collaborative web projects.
