These video game developers specialize in creating video game software by code writing and programming.  With the use of computational thinking and computer science, video game developers use code for programming software.

D EGREE R EQUIREMENTS Video game developers require at least a bachelor’s degree in areas such as video game development, graphic design, math, information systems, or computer science. Universities such as Clemson University, University of Southern California, University of Utah, New York University, and Harvard University offer these bachelor degrees

S ALARY Starter developers earn salaries between $50,000 and $55,000 per year. Video game developers with more experience earn a salary of around $72,000 per year, while video game developers with at least 3 years of experience earns around $80,000 per year. Professionals earn around $107,000 per year.
