Serendipity, circumstance and following strengths all seem to have played a part.  Faculty 13 years (two different universities) before moving to new state college; within four years went from faculty, associate dean, interim dean, dean; 2011 returned to faculty by choice; goals to return to a leadership position in a COE/SOE at a state college within 2-3 years
