Home/School Connections:  Think Marks  SignPosts  Accountable Talk  AR Requirements change per marking period  20 minutes of reading nightly  Spelling/Morphology homework every other week

Homework Grid  Assigned weekly  May change from week to week  Grids will not be graded for the grade book  Incentives will be offered based on the suggestions offered from class to class  Peer review will be the practice used to make corrections and suggestions  Target points are simply guidelines

Differentiation by Need Student choice:  How many problems should I complete?  Which problems are best suited for me?  Which problems do I have time to complete?  What will I gain from completing all problems?

Practice Problem  Grab a paper from the center of your table.  On the back of this sheet solve the highlighted problem. (2 minutes)  Discuss your answer with your table. (2 minutes)  Compare your paper to what the 4 th graders are doing. (examples hanging)
