Share the Vision – District Goals Short Term ◦ Increase professional development & training for integrating technology into classrooms ◦ Develop awareness of NETS-S Standards, and begin alignment of curricular activities within differentiated instructional environments ◦ Improve home/school communication via Internet resources (Skyward, web sites, etc.) ◦ Update elementary computer access (teachers/students) ◦ Improve & upgrade Internet connection speed

Share the Vision – District Goals Long Term ◦ Continue & refine professional development opportunities for staff ◦ Expand differentiated instruction & technology integration throughout all areas and levels of the curriculum, aligned with NETS-S Standards ◦ Update & expand secondary computer access (teachers/students) ◦ Explore upgrading to fiber optic connections for the District (Internet, etc.)

Focus Question #1 What do students need to know: ◦ For college preparation ◦ For advanced studies ◦ To ensure employability in today’s job market/economy (and tomorrow’s, as well)
