Income tax - Cyprus Income tax rates: 20% at €17,500 to 30% at €35,000 Social contributions: 6,3% of salary, deductible Pension income  Cyprus-source pensions, normal income  pensions related to services abroad, normally 5% tax in Cyprus Investment income/capital gains  interest, 10% “Defence contribution”, no income tax  dividends, 15% “Defence contribution”, no income tax  capital gains are generally not taxable  tax of up to 20% on gains on immovable property (€85,000 lifetime exemption on private residence) The information in this presentation is based on Nordea’s understanding of the tax rules.
