Ancient Mesopotamia Geography

Reading Handout As we read the handout together in class use different colored pencils to underline key information. This information in this passage will help you complete the map and the advantages/disadvantages chart. Make sure you complete the vocabulary on the back.

Use the information in the passage to label the following on your map. Tigris River Euphrates River Persian Gulf Red Sea Mediterranean Sea Syrian Desert Arabian Desert Zagros Mountains Color in Mesopotamia and Sumer. Create a key for these. Make sure your map contains the 4 parts of a map. If it is missing one, add it in. Using the information in the passage and your own ideas, complete the advantage/disadvantage chart on the back of the map.
