Anticipatory Set What if you were living in the late 1700s? Walking up the coast of California…coming to a new Mission each day? What would you see? What would life be like? In this project you will be learning in depth about this and finding the answers to these and many other questions

Project Description  In groups of 4, you will research one of the 21 missions along the El Camino Real  You will collectively create a power point presentation for the class on your findings  During each presentation, the class with take notes on the information  At the close of the project, there will be a test to check for understanding of the overall mission structure

Timeline  This is a 2 week long project  Days 1-3: Researching information for your presentation  Days 3-5: Compiling information into an informative and creative power point presentation  Week 2: Presentations  Final Day: Test
