 Some people use the internet as a means to “escape” reality  Depression  Anxiety  “Seeds” of addiction

 An estimated 10% of teens in china are addicted to the internet.  In 2009, Deng Senshan, 15, was beaten to death by a teacher at the Qihang Salvation Training Camp in Guanxi province.  33 million teens in militerestic camps to “cure” the addiction

 28 year old man dies after playing 50 hours of StarCraft with few breaks  An 18-year-old collapsed and died at an internet cafe after playing an online computer game for 40 hours straight.(Diablo III)  Serious addictions can lead to days without food/ water  Collapse from lack of energy and dies

 Were all probably using the web a bit to much  That’s ok  Addiction is not good for anybody  Can kill you  Internet addiction is understandable
