Measures taken to help our students Prepare for the School –based Assessment

Briefing all the Form Three students on School-based Assessment. 30 th May 2005

Helping students to find the type of books they enjoy reading for the Summer Reading Programme.

Summer Reading Programme for Junior Form Students  Students required to read a maximum of 6 books during summer.  They need to submit book review, book mark or book cover in September.

Preparing an SBA Journal for Form 4 Students

Adoption of two Class Readers Print Fiction: The Speckled Band and Other Stories Print non-fiction: Princess Diana

Carrying out a Reading Enhancement Programme which includes Carrying out a Reading Enhancement Programme which includes  A Books Exhibition and  A workshop on critical reading and writing skill.  An Oral Programme which features storytelling.

Teachers will collect all the book titles from their students in January 2006.

Assessment Tasks will be set Basing on the information given by students
