Workshop 3 please delete non-discussed principles below Common Principles for Quality Assurance in E&T discussed: QA as an integral part of the internal management of E&T institutions QA should include regular evaluation by external monitoring bodies/agencies QA systems:+ clear & measurable objectives & standards + guidelines for implementation, including stakeholder involvement + appropriate resources + consistent evaluation methods (self-assessm. & external review) + feedback mechanisms & procedures for improvement + widely accessible evaluation results QA as a co-operative process across levels, involving all relevant stakeholders, within countries & across Europe

Workshop 3 Main Lessons Learned/Workshop Results 1. The value of legislation to support quality assurance 2. The importance of the role of “intermediary” agencies 3. Common quality assurance concepts, principles and references across HE and VET but different contexts require different approaches
