TEAM INFORMERS GROUP MEMBERS: 1)AISWARIYA S NAIR 2)APARNA HARIKUMAR 3)ASWATHY K C 4) BUDHOTA AAMANI 5) GAYATHRI G 6) ILAVARASI P 1

OBJECTIVE… Our main objective is providing details about upcoming technical events in and out of the college campus. Although the departmental notice boards provide such information, students may not notice it. Our group aims at publicizing at greater level so that the student community remains up to date with all the technical and cultural events. 2

Synergy We were divided into groups by Aji sir according to roll numbers. We were assigned to submit a proposal for CIR- SSR project. We used to meet on weekly basis to discuss about the project details. So we took a strong decision to support each other. 3

PROJECT IDENTIFICATION Initially everyone came up with different project ideas.. Finally we decided to form “TEAM INFORMERS” which would be beneficial to all the students and also to ourselves. 4

PROGRESS….. 5

 Approached H.O.D’s of all the department seeking information about events related to respective dept. 1 6 TH & 17 TH S EPTEMBER, 2011  We announced in all classes, the objective of our project and selected a representative from each class so that we can inform them about the updates. 6

1 8 TH S EPTEMBER, 2011  Updated all the CIR-SSR project list undertaken by semester-5 students in VIDYA and notice boards with project title, class, and representative’s name.  It helped the students who are interested in the projects to enroll with the respective student incharge of the project. 7

20 TH S EPTEMBER,2011  Updated ongoing and upcoming technical and cultural events in other colleges in VIDYA and displayed the same in CIR and College main notice boards.  Updated details about AMMA’S BIRTHDAY celebration events and aslo about our upcoming Tech-Fest VIDYUT’ 12. 8

14 OCTOBER,2011  Second update of the upcoming and ongoing technical events (list -2) in VIDYA and published in CIR-SSR notice board and main notice board.  Pasted articles from news papers (Indian express) related to ‘ISB admissions’, other recruitments and other events. 9

E VENTS W E S UPPORTED….  Worked for the publicity of “TEAM JAAGRITI”  Extended support for “TEAM PRATHYASHA” & “TEAM ADROITERS” in conducting the event.  Engaged publicity and organising events for “TEAM INSIGHT”  Gave active participation in all CIR- SSR project events.  Co-operation to other SSR events taken by our classmates 10

PROJECT LEARNINGS This project was a great challenge and it was a great experience too. It increased the level of confidence We learnt management skills, dealing with authorities, tackling hard situations. We realized the importance of team work for success. Learnt to co-ordinate events by taking up the responsibility 11

HARDSHIPS AND SOLUTIONS When we decided about our project, the main challenge was how to reach students. Publishing the events list in special notice boards was a little hectic job, as we had to seek many permissions The cir department provided notice boards exclusively for CIR –SSR projects, were we can present our project events. 12

Success and failure assesment With the information and details provided by our team about CIR-SSR projects, many students enrolled in interested projects Sixty seven students from both s5 and s3 participated in EXCEL’11, organised by MODEL ENGINEERING COLLEGE,KOCHI and in TATHVA’11,NIT CALICUT and our intra college events. Huge response for the information on new admission procedure for INDIAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS(ISB), HYDERABAD. 13

Active participation of students in the events conducted by “ TEAM INSIGHT” and “TEAM JAAGRITI”. Many people( almost 25,000 hits) accessed the information uploaded in VIDYA /recent updates /cir projects, the digital library source of AMRITA UNIVERSITY”. We felt that we could have concentrated equally on non academic(sports and culturals) events. 14
