Effects of Imperialism on Africa Day One

You will be creating a Brochure!  You will be creating a brochure about the effects of Imperialism in Africa.

Such a large continent!!!  Because Africa is such a large continent, we will only be looking at three different sections of Africa, at different periods of time.  You will look at these periods through 3 stations

Station One  The Congo  King Leopold and the colonization of the Congo

Station Two  South Africa  Apartheid

Station Three  Modern day Mali and Sudan  Ethnic fighting

Stations  Attached to each article is an outline (with points) of what your brochure should look like  You will be working on these stations INDEPENDENTLY and QUIETLY so complete your work.  This will be due at the end of the second day of class
