OUR COUNTRY-ITS SURFACE  OUR LAND SURFACE IS OF DIFFERENT TYPES. THEY ARE - THEY ARE -  MOUNTAINS  PLATEAUS  PLAINS  DESERTS  ISLANDS

Mountains are highly elevated land forms. When the height of the mountain is low it is called a hill. We have many mountain and hill ranges.

The part of land whose level is raised from the surrounding areas but has a flat surface above is called a PLATEAU

 DECCAN PLATEAU  CHOTA NAGPUR PLATEAU  TELANGANA PLATEAU

PpPp Plains are flat and fertile land forms. They are used for agriculture.

Desert is that part of land where there is sand over vast areas.
