Location Of The Rainforest Rainforests are located near the equator. There is the tropic of Cancer and the tropic of Capricorn. The Amazon forest covers the basin of the Amazon, the world's second longest river

Plants In The rainforest The rainforest has a lot of different plants they have a lot of colourful plants. Many of the plants are extremely big. Cacao is picked from the cacao plant. More than two thirds of the world's plant species are found in the tropical rainforests

Food made in the Rainforest What do chocolate, popcorn, cola and salsa have in common? They are all foods whose ingredients were originally discovered in the rainforest! Many delicious foods originally came from the rainforest, including bananas, pineapples, oranges,lemons, coconuts, peanuts, corn and rice.

Animals Of The Rainforest There are a lot of animals in the rainforest. The rainforest is home to more than half of the world's animals. There are several vertebrates and invertebrates.
