Reference librarians requested certain Voyager functions to make discovery tool easier for patrons to use when searching local materials: Current Stacks Guide – needed to add local code to Primo Text me call number – supported by Primo but need to use 3 rd party software

Current Primo Display brief record vs expanded view

Implementation Changes were added through the presentation layer to keep the future maintenance to a minimum. Code was added to the footer of the current theme. Changed code won’t interfere with Primo’s core code base and will not impact update procedures.

Locate EXLAvailabilityCollectionName element for each record on the page. Replace the element with new content, which includes a link to the location guide and passes the collection name as a query parameter.
