ENTERING THE CLASSROOM Entering the Classroom You must grab your calculator first before heading to your desk. When the bell rings you must be in your sit ready to work on the warm – up.

LEAVING THE CLASSROOM Leaving the Classroom Minute bell. Everyone must stay in their seat until the bell rings. After three warnings student will receive detention.

GETTING MY ATTENTION & ASKING FOR HELP Getting my Attention Remain in your desk at ALL times Raise your hand Asking for Help Ask you group FIRST If no one in your group knows, I will come over to assist.

TEACHERS DESK No one needs to be behind my desk or using anything on my desk at anytime. Everything you need is on the table in front of the classroom.

GROUP WORK You will be working in groups all year. You must ask your group members FIRST before asking for the teachers help.

ANNOUNCEMENTS 1 st – 7 th Period: Please remain silent until all announcements have been made. Especially 1 st and 7 th.

FINISH WORK EARLY Before you PACK up… You must show the teacher that you have completed ALL assignments that was given in class – even homework. You may help some peers around you if you have completed your work – Must ask teacher first. If you are off task helping your peers you will receive detention. No one needs to pack up until my minute bell goes off.

PENCILS If you need to borrow a pencil you must bring me something valuable such as… Cell Phone iPod Book bag Purse Money Trading a pencil for a pencil is not valuable. You will get your valuable belongings back once you have returned my pencil.

TARDINESS POLICY If you are tardy to my class you must report to the ISS room 503. You will receive a late pass to my class. After 4 tardies you will receive 1 day of ISS After 5 or more tardies ISS days will increase. Please use the restroom before class or wait 10 minutes to go.

HOMEWORK You will have homework every day. Unless we have a… Test Quiz Homework will be checked every day. How I grade: 0 – Did not complete at all 1 – Half of the problems are completed 2 – All problems are completed. Homework grades will go in after each unit.

ABSENT ONE DAY You must check class website for missing work. Have work printed out when you return to school. Attend tutoring to get caught up. You do not have to have work completed if we learned something new. You do have to complete homework if we did not learn something new. If you miss 1 day of school you have 1 day to make up homework. If you miss 2 days of school you have 2 days to make up homework…etc…

EXTRA CREDIT No Extra Credit

TURNING WORK IN Turn work in the appropriate trays on the table near my desk. Don’t forget your name!

CALCULATOR POLICY Must bring a calculator every day If you do not have your own calculator You can use one of my calculators during class time only if you bring the calculator form back signed. Can buy calculator in room 310 for $20.

TUTORING I will hold after school tutoring every Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 – 4:00. If no one arrives by 3:40, tutoring will be canceled. If I have after school meetings, tutoring will also be canceled on those days. Please come prepared with assignments you need help on. If you are off task during tutoring hours I will ask you to leave.
