Remember that the unilateral hip x-rays that have been added this year will need modifiers added indicating that they are either a left or a right hip. The RT and LT modifiers can be added to your charge master. 73501, 73502, are new unilateral hip codes. and are new for femur and will need a RT, LT and 50 modifier applied.
