PCP It is an abbreviation for Printed Circuit Board. It is very useful in any electrical circuit application. Its is used to replace wires that connect the electronic components together with copper tracks.

Requirements to make a PCP

Steps To Make PCP You need to draw your circuit on a simulation program before starting. There are many programs that you can use such as: Circuit Wizard, Eagle, Proteus, etc... We will use circuit wizard in these slides.

Steps To Make PCP ➢ Open the program and click on the gallery icon and select to components that you are going to use in your circuit.

Steps To Make PCP ➢ Connect between the components by dragging wire using mouse from one component to another.

Steps To Make PCP ➢ After finishing and testing the circuit by clicking on the play icon now we shall convert it to PCB by clicking on (convert into a PCB) icon from the tool bar.

Steps To Make PCP ➢ Then a new window will open click (Next) then you have to choose between types of tracks (but choose one of the single sided).

Steps To Make PCP ➢ Then you have to enter the dimensions of the board you are using.

Steps To Make PCP ➢ If you found some wires try to change the components locations and use automatic routing then click on File>Print>Solder side, so you get the lay out.

Steps To Make PCP 1. Clean the board well with the metal sponge and finger nails polish remover (with a piece of cotton) until the board become shiny. 2. Adjust the copper side of the board with the printed lay out.

Steps To Make PCP 3.Then we use the iron and set it on the highest temp. and heat the paper side for about 10mins and force it towards the paper so the carbon on the paper is transferred to the copper board then remove the paper.

Steps To Make PCP 4.Remove the paper using water.

Steps To Make PCP 5. Then we will use the acid to remove the unwanted parts of the copper. “Put the acid in a plastic or glass container”

Steps To Make PCP 6. Leave it for about minutes till the unwanted copper is removed.

Steps To Make PCP 7. Then use the driller to make the holes.
