Software needed SeureCRT WinSCP Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Xming Download the 1 st three setup files from AU Install /11/2013 2

SecureCRT Download and run the SecureCRT setup. After installation, run the program. Choose Engineering and click connect. If prompted, enter your credentials. 1/11/2013 3

WinSCP Download and install WinSCP from setup. Choose File Protocol as “SFTP”. Host name: scp.eng.auburn.edu Port no.: 22 Enter your credenials. Leave private key as blank. Click Login, you may be asked to save a key, accept it. 1/11/2013 4

Troubleshooting Make sure to run XMing first before running SecureCRT so as to run the EDA Tools. If you want to access the tools or your filesfrom off campus, make sure to run Cisco AnyConnect VPN first. You cannot name only an.ext file (.bashrc) in Windows, it has to be done in the shell prompt (SecureCRT). Open shell prompt (SecureCRT), type “mv sample.bashrc.bashrc”. This creates your.bashrc file which loads all the CAD libraries when you start CRT.
