Make your own.jpg graphic Lesson 10
Objective Make a custom graphic to use in other software packages, electronic scrapbooks, videos, photo stories, worksheets, tests, quizzes, web sites, etc.
STEP 1 Choose your items (text and/or graphics/photos) and place them on a page in your interactive whiteboard software.
STEP 2 Arrange them on the page and group them together with your group tool.
STEP Take a snapshot with your camera tool. Highlight the snapshot and “copy it”. Open PowerPoint and “paste” it on a blank slide. Crop it as necessary.
STEP 7 Right click (pc) or hold the mouse down (mac) and choose “save picture as”. Choose a name for your graphic and.jpg from the “Save as type:”
STEP 8 You can now use your new graphic in other programs. – The graphics you see on my wikis – and were made this way. – Make graphics for introductions to new sections of videos. – Make digital scrapbook pages by grouping pictures, captions, and journal entries. – Coordinate lessons, worksheets, tests, and quizzes. – Let students make logos for their clubs and classes. – Covers for projects can be created by students.
