 Definition: Ribosomes are the components of cells that make proteins from amino acids.  Location: Ribosomes are suspended in the cytosol, and bound to the endoplasmic reticulum.

 Function: Ribosomes are used to assemble amino acids to form specific proteins.  Structure: Ribosomes are made of the two components RNA and Proteins.

 In a factory Ribosomes are the production line that build the products.

 Definition: Organelles that are found in most eukaryotic cells.  Location: Golgi Bodies are found away from the Nucleus and closer to the Cell Membrane.

 Function: Golgi bodies store, package and distribute the proteins and lipids made in the endoplasmic reticulum.  Structure: A network of stacked sacs found within nucleated cells.

 In a factory Golgi Body would be the shipping center.
